Wallet Chains

At 23 to 25.5 inches, a wallet chain reaches from belt loop to back pocket without dragging. That measurement is the range this collection covers. There are 16 chains here: seven in solid brass, nine hand-braided from cowhide.

Solid brass is the heavier material by a considerable margin. Two chains list their weight outright, at 160 and 216 grams. The metal develops a warm patina as it oxidizes. Braided cowhide weighs considerably less and stays quieter against a motorcycle seat. It breaks in the way a belt does, stiff for a week and then shaped to your posture. Cast brass terminals carry skull, dragon claw, lion head, and bulldog motifs. Clasps secure both ends, one attaching to the wallet and one to a belt loop. Length determines how the chain hangs, so measure from your belt loop to your pocket before deciding. Best for daily motorcycle riders, and for anyone who has already lost a wallet once.
